You've got to admit, this the the cheesiest and funniest use of a Breyer yet!

The Office

Been watching every episode of "The Office" (USA version) on Netflix, and for 69 episodes I've been checking out the backgrounds just in case (you never know!). I about jumped out of my chair when this respectable Breyer collection appeared in Episode 9 of Season 5, "Frame Toby"!

This is supposedly the character Jim's parents' house...so it's my assumption his mom is the Breyer collector! Kinda neat that she seems to like draft horses. But then, they are in Scranton, Pennsylvania... maybe some Amish heritage!

In later scenes the house was cleaned out, so I only imagine the mom carefully moved her collection to their new home. How many husbands would tolerate Breyers on the end tables! What a great couple they must be!

Okay, this is about the LAST movie on Earth I'd think would have a Breyer Sighting, but sure enough! About 45 minutes in, the dying mother's hospital room has been decorated by her Alzheimer's patient mother (what a happy film!!!), and what did she put on the window sill but the Breyer Classic "Black Stallion" in Palomino!!

By the way, this was a very good film. Made "Schindler's List" look like a happy musical. Watch it, but with plenty of Kleenex!

Was innocently thumbing through the CDs at the local library, when my eye spied this CD! I have NO clue who the artist is, or what its (his or her's) music sounds like, but dang, there's BREYERS on it!!!


I envy this kid...I'd had killed to have her childhood...a real horse, horse shows, and little plastic horses by the score!!!

What can we see.... in the lower left hand corner there's a My Little Pony, a couple of Grand Champions, a flockie... towards the center in a red blanket is a Breyer Gem Twist. Can't tell what the white/unpainted Trad-scaled horse is right under the bar code...butt looks like an ISH but he his head's turned the wrong way. Any ideas??


The back of the CD sports MORE horsies, I don't know what that unpainted one is, but I think that's one of the Classic Mesteno foals in front of it. Of course the Breyer Traditional "Misty" towards the right hand edge.


A-HA...look at that poster or whatever leaning against the shelf there...the photo has been REVERSED! So it's probably true that the unpainted horse on the floor IS an ISH, whose head is turned to the RIGHT in real life, but turned to the LEFT in this photo!

The Office - Episode 509

In this episode of "The Office" we enjoy one of the dullest presentations of a Breyer collection I've ever seen. Snorrre.

But at least it's a pretty decent collection, with Clydesdale Stallion in the window, Clydesdale Mare on the end table, along with the back end of a Running Mare on the dresser. Also the buckskin pinto San Domingo, the black appaloosa Running Stock Foal, the sorrel Running Foal.

Here we see the Clydes Stallion in the window! Pam's parents had good taste!

Criminal Minds

In the "The Tribe" episode of the series "Criminal Minds", this small collection was spotted in "Nicole's" room!
That's most likely the very dark bay "Mesa", with the old palomino Western Horse, and the small porcelain "Rain" and "Spirit" in front.
