This blog springs forth from the age-old model horse hobby pastime of noting "Breyer Sightings"; instances where Breyer model horses (and other beasties) are used as props or set decoration in films, television shows, and even print ads. It's harmless fun, and intriguing as to the many places these treasured collectibles find themselves! Enjoy!

Call of the Wild - 2009
The sharp eyes of another scout found this very impressive display of Breyers in the recent version of "Call of the Wild"!
What restaurant is that with a Breyer Buffet!!!??? I want!!!
I saw a siteing the other day and I looked for the episode with the horse in it but couldn't find it. I'm not sure if you've seen American Pickers but it's about a couple of guys who go to peoples' property and get permission to pick through their junk for big money items.
This episode had a scene when the two guys meet up with a lady who takes appart whole barns that people don't want. She had a ton of stuff in her car (a black mercadies if I remember correctly) they picked though the car and pulled out a western horse clock, it was a gold metallic painted horse on a wooden base with the horse facing the clock. They didn't say anything about it but they pull it out and it's seen sitting on the grass while they keep going through the car.
I hope this is helpful, I even looked for a screen shot but couldn't find one.
Here's a sighting for you. In the show "The Ghost Whisperer" episode Lethal Combination, the girl is playing with a horse that looks like Misty of Chincoteugue
